The founder and the owner of JS Fabryka Przekładni is Janusz Starosielski. The company was set up in 1982 as a wire processing plant and initially employed a staff of 6 people.

Throughout its 30 year history the company has grown from a Wire Processing Plant into a world-class factory. In the years 1988-1997 the business functioned as Mechanical Processing Plant manufacturing gears. Following this, in 1997 the company extended its range of production to include axis gears and changed its name to Fabryka Przekładni Kątowych (Axis Gear Plant). In 2011 it was transformed into a limited partnership operating under its current name: JS Fabryka Przekładni (JS Gear Plant).

At present JS Fabryka Przekladni employs 250 people and is a market leader as the producer of gears in Poland. Since 1995 when the production of gears started, 320 different types of gears totalling over 60.000 units have been manufactured every year. The level of production is steadily rising.

Among our customers are leading producers of agricutural machinery from Poland, European Union and Russia. The strength of the company is its flexibility, individual approach to every customer and continuous investment in the most modern manufacturing technologies. Another unquestionable advantage we can boast is our staff – highly-skilled with many years of experience behind them.

Currently the plant site covers 30.000 sq m. Manufacturing takes place in halls whose area totals 11.000 sq m. The plant machinery comprises 130 machine tools enabling production of gears and toothing of any kind.

In 2015 an integrated quality management system was introduced and the company obtained certificates ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and PN-N-18001:2004 issued by TUV Rheinland.
