The founder and the owner of JS Fabryka Przekładni is Janusz Starosielski. The company was set up in 1982 as a wire processing plant and initially employed a staff of 6 people.
Throughout its 30 year history the company has grown from a Wire Processing Plant into a world-class factory. In the years 1988-1997 the business functioned as Mechanical Processing Plant manufacturing gears. Following this, in 1997 the company extended its range of production to include axis gears and changed its name to Fabryka Przekładni Kątowych (Axis Gear Plant). In 2011 it was transformed into a limited partnership operating under its current name: JS Fabryka Przekładni (JS Gear Plant).
At present JS Fabryka Przekladni employs 250 people and is a market leader as the producer of gears in Poland. Since 1995 when the production of gears started, 320 different types of gears totalling over 60.000 units have been manufactured every year. The level of production is steadily rising.
